Parallel Path (Boulder, Colorado) is looking for a talented driven individual to help lead the strategy, development, execution and optimization of search marketing strategies across its diverse pool of clients including small, medium, and large businesses touching multiple verticals.
At Parallel Path you’ll work with a management team that is well versed in online marketing practices and gives you the support and freedom to deliver results. Be the “go to” person that positions websites to receive top rankings (organic) on search engines. You will be the key manager that creates, develops, and executes lead generation to drive customer growth through organic search. Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategy, implement detailed execution and continually optimize search marketing initiatives that will deliver brand awareness and customer acquisition
- Develop segmentation and keyword strategies for various websites and clients
- Work to ensure client websites are using best SEO techniques and practices to generate traffic and brand awareness
- Conduct analysis of program performance across key metrics to recommend and execute modifications in marketing creative, promotions and customer conversion to optimize program ROI
- Perform keyword research and analysis for organic search
- Actively test and implement new keywords, copy, landing pages, and positioning
- Interpret statistics, communicate trends and identify opportunities for growth
- Monitor competitive online activity, make appropriate recommendations
- Copy writing recommendations
- Develop linking, blogging, social media strategy
Knowledge
- Major search engines – Google, Yahoo, MSN
- Search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
- Highly proficient with SEO and PPC reporting
- Understanding of Web Analytics Programs such as Google, Omniture, etc..
- Strong understanding of web usability and site design
- Understanding of Server and Database structure and technology a plus
Experience
- 4+ years of Online Marketing Experience
-Experience working in an agency setting and able to effectively prioritize, manage, and execute multiple tasks.
- Extensive experience running and managing online acquisition marketing campaigns
- Extensive experience developing, implementing, measuring, and improving organic and paid search campaigns
- Experience with social media optimization (including blogging and link-baiting)
- Performing and delivering quantitative and ROI analysis
Requirements – Soft Skills
-Ability to think at a high strategic level and follow through with action and implementation
-Great communications skills
-Works well in a team and easily able to express ideas
-Ability to take direction but possesses the drive to work independently
-Great Problem solving skills and abilities
-Possesses a broad understanding of online channels outside of SEO & PPC a plus
- Understanding of both Static and Dynamic websites and how the Search Engines deal with them (HTML, PHP, ASP, .NET, CSS, etc…)
-Strong written skills as it relates to writing SEO content
-Superb project management skills
Requirements – Hard Skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Office products – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
-Proficient in DreamWeaver or an other FTP program used for updating websites
-Working knowledge of Photoshop
-Experience with Google Webmaster Tools
Education
-BS/BA preferred or current college program with Marketing and/or Technology emphasis
